We truly believe that all good things come with time and discipline. Our breeding program is no exception to this rule. Our process is nothing more than slow and steady in this beginning stage, but in our experience momentum builds on consistency. Our goal is to provide our customers with the most reliable, prepotent and net profit oriented Angus genetics that we can. This takes time, ET, AI and large sire groups are the blueprint we use to achieve this, however we are very disciplined in regard to what genes we duplicate and which are culled.
At Correia Livestock we are building a unique genetic base that creates unmatched value for the commercial cattlemen.
We don't change course in pursuit of trends, we don't change our goal to fit our outcomes that year, and we don't incorporate unproven genetics. We believe our cows should be managed in a realistic environment, measured the same way our commercial producers do, and selected from those criteria before all else.
